Over the week Room I created some wonderful character descriptions about Mrs. Monteith, our wonderful office manager. Mrs. Monteith has worked at M.S.S for 30 years! Wow, what a long time, but sadly she is now retiring. What will we do without her? All of the children wanted to share their feelings and desciptions about Mrs. Monteith, as they are really special and tell us alot about her.
I have got the children to publish their stories and posted them as a comment under this post.
Have a read- they are wonderful!
Mrs. Monteith
ReplyDeleteMrs. Monteith is a kind and caring person, with a great personality and she is friendly. She works hard every day, trying to keep the school working, doing the office lady job and getting all the phone calls. She has a great sense of humor, sometimes before she’ll give you something (and you haven’t said please) she says “and”, and you have to say please (because that’s good manners). She loves it when you use good manners. She has a way with computers and when ever you come in your can hear the tapping on a keyboard, followed by the click of the mouse. So I guess now it is goodbye, we’ll never forget you here at Manchester Street School. No matter how old we get, we’ll always remember your bright smile, and how nice and you are.

Mrs. Monteith
ReplyDeleteMrs. Monteith has hair like a sheep’s wool and little windows on her eyes .Her smile is seen for mile. She has skin like glad wrap. Her eyes sparkle like an angel. When we walk into the office all you can hear is the tapping of the keyboard so we know she is busy, but then she stops and comes over and says “hello darling, what can I do for you?” We always think, what would we do without Mrs. Monteith? Mrs. Monteith your smile makes me laugh and all your jokes are funny! You are the best office lady. We will really miss you!
