Mighty machines expo

You are cordially invited to attend the Mighty Machines Expo.

Come and see the creations of our marvellous inventors and have them explain how they work and how they were designed and built.

Inquiry Mighty Machines project...

Over the next two weeks your children may be coming home asking you to help them find some materials or resources they can use to help create and make their machines they have designed in the class.This is a team effort, and your child is not alone. The children may need things like string, cardboard, pulleys, wood, containers etc. They have chosen what to use and are expected to be in charge of bringing the materials in. There will be a final display day where their machine will be on display for all of M.S.S to come and see and you are welcome to come along also.
A presentation is also expected, by the group, using a display board, which they are to create. It has been alot of fun for the children and I have observed some great problem solving skills being used in the classroom.

Please encourage and support your child with this and if you have any questions at all please do not be afraid to come in and ask me :).
