Here are our publishing borders.
Everyone has done one in the classroom, and it is used to display our published work.
Here are some examples done by Sophie, Jonty and Kaylen.

Swimming Sports 2013

Swimming Sports 2013

What a great day down at the pool. Beautiful weather, lots of competitive and exciting races, and lots of children pushing themselves to complete the challenges set.

The senior school and middle school competed in the School Swimming Sports. It was a very exciting time for not only the swimmers, but for the spectators e.g. the wonderful parents, children and teachers.
It was great to see all the children pushing themselves and celebrating not only their own successes but other children’s.

The winning overall team for the relay was Matai- Congratulations!

The parents won the Teachers Vs Parents race AGAIN but it was a lot of fun and I had a great time cooling off in the pool J (Miss K).

Here are some wonderful photos of swimmers in the Senior Team…

Our Class Treaty!

Incredible Room I's Treaty!

Here is Room I's 2013 Class Treaty

As a whole class the children cooperatively created some guidelines to have in place and follow in the classroom. The children also set up a reward and consequence system. It was a lot of fun and the children are very keen to follow and abide by the guidelines, as they created them and believe they are important.

They decided on these guidelines:

Incredible Is Guidelines
2013
· Respect each other with the actions and words we use.
· Treat others how you would want to be treated.
· Be honest.
· Work cooperatively with others.

Coach House Museum Trip

Coach House Museum Trip
Tuesday the 5th of February

Incredible Room I had a wonderful visit to the Coach House Museum in Feilding.
The children enjoyed listening to a speaker talk about Feilding’s history and were very enthusiastic about roving around the museum observing different displays.
The children especially enjoyed sitting on the different forms of transport e.g. tractors, diggers and carts.
We all had a fantastic time exploring and learning more about Feildings heritage.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful parents who offered to, and did, take the children to the museum. We could not have had this experience without you.

Miss K.

Here is a link to the museum if you are wanting more information.

Here are some of the photos that were taken on our visit, if you would like to see the others please feel free to come and ask me J
