Wet Feet visit to Kitchener Park!

We were VERY lucky to go and visit Kitchener Park, here in Feilding.
It was great to get amongst the native bush and low land areas to find out what trees, plants and animals were growing and thriving in certain areas.

There were many activities the children participated in. These were water clarity and algae hunting, identifying invertebrates, accessing the4 habitat and water temperature and the children had a talk with Gavin Scott- who is in charge of the park, about the history and native life around the area.

The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We all definitely had WET FEET by getting out and having a go in the wet, cold and mud!
